Our mission is to promote and educate the living traditions in Scotts Run. They are about providing us pathways of discovery to history, heritage and preserving cultural traditions, heritage, connection and the natural environment. Our main events function to empower artists through supporting their business, craft and cultural work. They will allow different generations and cultures to come together to learn about Scotts Run traditions, oral history, performing arts, social practices and rituals. Musicians, artists, story tellers, historians and master gardeners in our area will pass along their wisdom and knowledge, customs, cultures land cultivation and food preservation to youth, increasing the chances of conserving our history.

This project is made possible by the Mid-Atlantic Arts Central Appalachian Living Traditions grant awarded to The Scott's Run Resonance Project with the partners of The Scott's Run Museum and Trail The Ferry House and The Shack Neighborhood House.
